This is a park provided by the NZ Motor Caravan Association for it’s members to stay for $5 per night per person.

Stayed at Himatangi for the weekend 24th/28th July. A little bit frosty in the mornings.Tried a bit of drone fishing but no luck. Getting used to my new electric reel.

Timona Park is a beautiful spot that is obviously popular with caravaning/ motor home people but lots of places to park, near the river, or looking over a field. We came here on Monday (28th July) and will stay until Thursday when we will migrate south again to Wellington.
