Staying at the Foxton NZMCA campground is a bit like camping in the front row of an equine rock concert. The stage? The old racing track, now a morning training ground. The headliners? Dozens of horses, pounding past at dawn with enough horsepower to rattle your coffee mug. It’s not so much a wake-up call as it is a full-body vibration — and frankly, we’re not complaining.
