Bluff

Deb couldn’t resist giving the iconic Bluff signs a big hug — a proper “made it to the bottom of New Zealand” moment. From there we headed up to the Bluff Hill lookout, taking in the sweeping panoramic views across Foveaux Strait and over to Stewart Island. Absolutely stunning on a clear day.

Only downside? Bluff oysters were out of season… so no famous fresh feed this time. But at least it gives us a good excuse to come back!

Roaming

We sold the house and now we're on the move, living full-time in our caravan. Deb and I have embraced a more mobile lifestyle, travelling around New Zealand and exploring new places as we go. With no fixed address, every day brings a new view and a fresh experience — from quiet coastal spots to scenic rural hideaways. It’s a big change from the old routine, but we’re loving the freedom, simplicity, and adventure that come with life on the road.
